This single-use device is designed to ensure the efficacy of air removal and steam penetration in pulse vacuum steam sterilizers, providing healthcare facilities with a reliable and easy-to-use solution for sterilization validation.

Product Description:

The Bowie & Dick Test Pack is a crucial tool for verifying the performance of sterilization processes in medical settings. It features a lead-free chemical indicator and a BD test sheet, which are placed between porous sheets of paper and wrapped with crepe paper. Reliable Performance:

When used correctly, the test pack confirms effective air removal and steam penetration by changing color from pale yellow to homogeneous puce or black. This color change occurs when the sterilizer reaches the optimal temperature of 132to 134for 3.5 to 4.0 minutes.

Easy to Use:

The straightforward design of the Bowie & Dick Test Pack makes it easy for healthcare professionals to implement and interpret results. Simply place the pack in the sterilizer, run the cycle, and observe the color change to confirm successful sterilization.

Accurate Detection:

If there is any air mass present or if the sterilizer fails to reach the required temperature, the thermo-sensitive dye will remain pale yellow or change unevenly, indicating an issue with the sterilization process.

Peter Tan, General Manager of JPS Medical, stated, "Sterilization is a critical component of infection control in healthcare settings. Our Bowie & Dick Test Pack is designed to provide accurate and reliable verification of sterilizer performance, ensuring that medical instruments are properly sterilized and safe for use."

Jane Chen, Deputy General Manager, added, "We are committed to providing high-quality products that enhance the safety and efficiency of healthcare practices. The Bowie & Dick Test Pack reflects our dedication to innovation and excellence in the field of medical supplies."

What is the Bowie-Dick test used to monitor?

The Bowie-Dick test is used to monitor the performance of pre-vacuum steam sterilizers. It is designed to detect air leaks, inadequate air removal, and steam penetration in the sterilization chamber.
